A Cuban musical play "La Cucarachita Martina" captivated the audience who attended the performance of the Cuban children's theater company La Colmenita at the Harriet Trubman Learning Center, a school in Harlem, north Manhattan.

Acted in English by a cast of children directed by Carlos Alberto Cremata, the play is a sort of musical comedy full of color and joy, in which actors and audience become one.

The version of pieces such as "La Cucarachita Martina" and "Abracadabra," and the performance of La Colmenita children's orchestra are the proposals that have so far been presented with great success in Washington and New York, before continuing to San Francisco on October 25.

The company, which was appointed UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, has traveled on a Pastors for Peace yellow bus bearing signs in bright colors that demand an end to the U.S.-imposed fiv-decade-old blockade.

The group will be touring the United States until October 30.
