Cuban President Raul Castro, and Revolution leader Fidel Castro sent congratulation messages to prominent poet Carilda Oliver Labra, from Matanzas province, who turned 90 years old today.

Cuban President Raul Castro, and Revolution leader Fidel Castro sent congratulation messages to prominent poet Carilda Oliver Labra, from Matanzas province, who turned 90 years old today.
According to a local television report, Fidel Castro sent flowers and the fifth book of his reflections to the poet.
Cuban Minister of Culture Rafael Bernal also gave a congratulation message to the national Literature prize winner from Raul Castro, who highlighted the loyalty of Oliver Labra to the Cuban Revolution.
For her part, the 90-year-old poet thanked the respect and affection shown by the two Cuban leaders, as well as from other parts of the Island, and said that she will keep those messages as treasures.
