Cuban Youngsters in Bolivia for LatAm Summit
A delegation of Cuban youngsters that will take part in a Latin American Youth Summit is already in the eastern city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, the venue for their meeting next Tuesday, according to organizer Juan Jose Mendoza.

A delegation of Cuban youngsters that will take part in a Latin American Youth Summit is already in the eastern city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, the venue for their meeting next Tuesday, according to organizer Juan Jose Mendoza.
The objective of the Cuban delegation is to set forth proposals for a Summit of the Group of 77 (G77) plus China to be held on June 14-15, also in Santa Cruz, said Mendoza.
The source added that "other delegations are already mobilizing in their countries to arrive in Bolivia and participate in the Latin American summit," set to start on Tuesday, Apr 22.
"Around 10:00 local time Tuesday we will distribute the delegates to work in different groups," announced Mendoza, who highlighted that some 3,000 youngsters from Bolivia, Cuba, Chile, Argentina and Brazil, among other countries, are expected to attend the meeting in Santa Cruz.
They will discuss global warming, the eradication of poverty and other issues included in the agenda for the Summit of G-77 plus China.
The conclusions of this Santa Cruz meeting will be presented in a report to the G-27 plus China summit in June.
