Cuban Labiofam Explores Co-op with Belarus
Experts of the Business Group of Biopharmaceutical, Chemical Productions (Labiofam) are carrying out in Belarus a plan of presentations about VIDATOX, a natural product made of scorpion venom used as part of the cancer therapy.

Experts of the Business Group of Biopharmaceutical, Chemical Productions (Labiofam) are carrying out in Belarus a plan of presentations about VIDATOX, a natural product made of scorpion venom used as part of the cancer therapy.
During a work visit to Minsk, the Cuban scientific delegation held several meetings with local counterparts and made a diagnosis of the broad possibilities for bilateral cooperation with Belarus in the field.
Labiofam scientist Alexis Diaz Garcia and sales expert Alejandro Gonzalez Torres explained to their Belarusian counterparts that VIDATOX, a homepathic, bio-therapeutic drug, has the blue scorpion venom Rhopalurus Junceus, endemic to Cuba, as active ingredient
Diaz Garcia gave a masterly lecture at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemestry of the Academy of Sciences before dozens of Belarusian scientists.
He explained that the use of the said homeopathic drug prevents the undesirable symptoms caused by the cytostatic agents and radiation therapy undergone by cancer patients.
Wholy made by Labiofam, this drug improves the quality of life and survival of patients, besides easing the pain and improving the symptoms.
During their visit, the Cuban experts invited their Belarusian counterparts to the 2nd Congress LABIOFAM 2012 and the 2nd Symposium of Natural Products in Cancer Therapy to be held on September 24-28 in the Havana Convention Center.
