Cuban artists will give two concerts simultaneously in Havana and Santiago on Saturday to defend Cuba´s sovereignty and independence.
This concert, aimed at repelling the media campaign against Cuba, will be opened by Silvio Rodriguez at the Antimperialist Tribune.
Different thinking, literature, music and arts generations will attend the concert. They all will defend Cuba right to self-determination and condemn European Parliament interference in the internal affairs of the US-blockaded Island.
The Big Concert will vibrate countrywide with poetry and music by Miguel Barnet, Nancy Morejón, Sara González, Jorge Perugorría, Cándido Fabré, Blanca Rosa Blanco, Corina Mestre, Paulo FG, Buena Fe, Alexis Díaz Pimienta and Moneda Dura.
The riches of Cuban musical heritage will flood the atmosphere with trova, rock, reggaeton, rap and afro music. The unity for Cuba will fly like a flag.
