Busy Agenda for Cuban Vice President in Dom Rep
Cuban Vice President Esteban Lazo complied with a busy agenda during the visit he will conclude today to the Dominican Republic, where he met with new President Danilo Medina. Both parties exchanged opinions on bilateral relations and ratified their interest of strengthening ties between the two countries, described historic and very similar from a cultural standpoint.

This meeting was preceded by a brief exchange with outgoing President Leonel Fernandez, who thanked the levels of ties Cuba and the Dominican Republic have reached during his mandate.
