French Association Strengthens Cooperation With Cuba
Vice president of the French association Cooperation with Cuba, Manuel Pascual, said that it will increase its projects in the Caribbean country this year, as a contribution to the fight of that people against the U.S. blockade.

Vice president of the French association Cooperation with Cuba, Manuel Pascual, said that it will increase its projects in the Caribbean country this year, as a contribution to the fight of that people against the U.S. blockade.
The French organization, founded 18 years ago, collaborates with Cuban authorities in about 30 development programs, including sectors such as environment, health, and culture, in various provinces of the country.
In a statement to Prensa Latina, Pascual said that they are currently supplying equipments to a community circus school for children in Havana, apart from continuing with other plans started at the metropolitan Park and the Victor Hugo house.
Meanwhile, various joint initiatives with the Human Development Program are being materialized in Cienfuegos province, including the restoration of Tomas Terry theater, a craftwork institution for young people, and the support to various specialized schools.
Pascual noted that despite the over 50-year-old U.S. blockade, Cuba has made big steps compared to other nations in education, health, sports, culture, and other fields, and also collaborates with third world nations.
