Cooperation relations between Angola and Cuba are strengthening and are at the highest level, with the presence in this African country of personnel from the Caribbean nation in different sectors, a legal source asserted today in this capital.

In statements to Prensa Latina at the International 4 de Fevereiro Airport, Attorney General of the Angolan Republic Joao Maria Moreira de Sousa said that Cuban personnel are collaborating in this state, in areas as health, education and civil construction.

De Sousa, who paid a visit to Cuba from June 3-10, said that many Cubans participated in the Angolan independence war.

Referring to his stay in Cuba, he said it was profitable, because he exchanged with legal and Government authorities.

The magistrate recalled that the Angolan and Cuban Attorney General's Offices signed bilateral cooperation agreements that favor the exchange of experiences and professional formation and improvement of specialists.
