New World Wide Initiative for the Cuban Five
Voices for the Five, a world-wide initiative launched by personalities from all over the world, is gathering strength in the international arena, where it has convened an International Investigation Committee that will meet in London on March 7th and 9th next year.

Voices for the Five, a world-wide initiative launched by personalities from all over the world, is gathering strength in the international arena, where it has convened an International Investigation Committee that will meet in London on March 7th and 9th next year.
The International group is to review and give a new thrust to the demands for the liberation of four Cuban anti-terrorists, who are locked up in U.S. prisons for monitoring terrorist groups in Southern Florida that, under the guidance of the CIA, have launched continued attacks and aggressions against Cuba.
Belgian activist Katrien Demuynk, Chair of the Association “Socialist Cuba Initiative” and Coordinator of the Committee for the Five in Europe, said the Investigating Committee will meet at London’s prestigious Law Society, where outstanding jurists, specialists in international law and politicians will meet with experts in reviewing the case.
Ms. Demuyink said the Committee will be supplied with ample evidence on the terrorist activities of CIA-funded and directed, U.S.-based terror groups that The Five monitored from Miami and other Florida areas.
“Voices for the Five” is an international coalition of activists, solidarity groups, legal personnel, trade union and international figures and organizations who work to support justice and fairness towards The Five.
They sponsor a website that everyone is invited to visit. Its address is www.voicesforthefive.com. Over three hundred international personalities, well known artists and intellectuals have already joined the initiative.
They include John Le Carré, Noam Chomsky, Wayne Smith, Günter Grass, Miguel Barnet, Ramsey Clark, Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, Nancy Morejón and Emma Thompson, all of them united behind the demand that the Cuban anti-terrorists be released from prison.
