Cubans Resident in Guatemala Condemn Zunzuneo Project
The Jose Marti Association of Cubans Resident in Guatemala today joined in the condemnation expressed by many political and social groups against ZunZuneo, a platform created in the United States to destabilize Cuba.

The Jose Marti Association of Cubans Resident in Guatemala today joined in the condemnation expressed by many political and social groups against ZunZuneo, a platform created in the United States to destabilize Cuba.
"We bluntly denounce this action and we support from here the struggle of an entire people with the willingness to keep moving forward," the group said in a statement, adding that the ZunZuneo project, financed by USAID (U.S. Agency for Internatonal Development), "along with all such destabilizing plans against our government, only makes us stronger still."
The Winaq Political Movement, the Guatemalan National Revolutionary Unity (URNG), the New Alternative Nation (ANN), and the the Guatemalan Coordinating Committee of Solidarity with Cuba, made up of a dozen of political and social organizations, have also vigorously expressed their rejection of the interventionist platform. "Winaq, after stating that ZunZuneo is an illegal and evil maneuver that endangers the Cuban people's sovereignty, vigorously rejects it, and joins in the international condemnation," said a note to which Prensa Latina had access.
The note also demanded that the U.S. government end all its intimidating actions against Cuba, and stop putting it on its list of countries that sponsor terrorism, drawn up by the U.S. State Department.
The Guatemalan Coordinating Committee of Solidarity with Cuba repudiated the implicit information aggression at ZunZuneo, and said that the creation of that mobile telecom messaging network aimed at overthrowing the Cuban government was an extremely serious matter.
