Díaz-Canel to attend presidential swearing-in ceremony in Nicaragua

Cuba´s president Miguel Díaz-Canel arrived in Nicaragua today, at the head of the invited delegation to the swearing-in ceremony of the head of the state Daniel Ortega and the vice-president Rosario Murillo.
 
From the airport, the leader of the Caribbean country received the official welcome of Roberto López, Minister Executive President of the Social Security Institute.
 
Before leaving the island, Díaz-Canel announced through his profile of Twitter his return to what he describes as his dear Managua and a sovereign country that it is no longer the backyard of the empire.
