Cuban and Spanish legislators have agreed to establish closer relations between their respective institutions at a meeting held in Havana by a Spanish parliamentary delegation.
The Federal Coordinator of the Spanish United Left Party, Cayo Lara, said that the strengthening of relations with the Cuban National Assembly is the goal of his organization.
The General Secretary of the Communist Party of Spain, Jose Luís Centella voiced, for his part, the hope that the current visit to Cuba of Spanish Parliament members will do a lot to strengthen relations and consolidate friendship between both legislative bodies.
