- A meeting presided over by Fidel at the Account Court with all ministers, military chiefs from the six provinces and other officials in management positions.
- A visitto the Sports Division, accompanied by Luis Orlando Rodríguez, Minister for Governance and welcomed by Captain Felipe Guerra Matos.
- He was present at an extraordinary and patriotic mass meeting in Baire, Oriente, in commemoration of the beginning of the 1895 Independence War. In his speech, he reinforced Martí’s ideals in the Revolution.
