Fidel attends a banquet of more than 1000 persons, given at the Havana Hilton Hotel on the occasion of Lawyers’ Day, in honour of Ignacio Agramonte. This day had not been celebrated since 1955 as a protest against the Batista dictatorship’s regime of no justice and no freedoms. He made the closing speech at this event.
