The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is today in condition to study collaboration projects with Cuba, especially in professional training, Deputy Prime Minister of this African country, Willy Makiashi, said.
After meeting with Cuban ambassador Marcelo Caballero, the also minister of Employment, Labor and Social Security was interested in the Cuban experience in those sectors and requested the island the willingness to establish direct ties.
Such ties to exchange on those issues will allow his ministry to comply with the proposed objectives.
"Cuba was and will be always in my heart," stated the deputy prime minister, who delivered Caballero a file with the needs and proposals of collaboration from the Congolese nation.
This was the third official meeting between both parties, the two first with Makiashi as a permanent secretary of the Unified Lumumbist Party (PALU).
Cuba and the Democratic Republic of Congo established diplomatic relations on April 11, 1974.
