The Cuban film 'Meñique' is now screened in the National Library Pedro Henrique Ureña, in the Pavilion Nuestra America as part of the XVIII International Book Fair in Santo Domingo, in the National Library Pedro Henrique Ureña, in the Pavilion Nuestra America.
It is a 3D feature film porduced in the Animation Studios of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC), directed by Ernesto Padron and with original music by Cuban singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez, founder of the Abdala studies.
The activity is promoted by the House of Latin American and Caribbean Culture, the Maximo Gomez Foundation, the National Library Pedro Henrique Ureña and Abdala studies, represented in this fair by its director Mabel Muñiz.
On the island's participation in this fair, Muñiz told Prensa Latina that the goal is making the public aware that in Cuba there are high-tech recordings studios that emerged from the idea of Silvio Rodriguez.
