President of Cuba''s Council of State and Minister, Army General Raul Castro Ruz, welcomed Wang Yi yesterday afternoon, Minister of Foreign Affairs for the People''s Republic of China, on an official visit here.
The friendly meeting demonstrated the excellent state of bilateral relations that continue to be strengthened with further prospects for development, as an expression of the ties of brotherhood that join both peoples and governments. The two also talked about international issues.
The director-general for Latin America and the Caribbean at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shen Zhiliang, Chinese ambassador to Havana Zhang Tuo, and Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, also attended the meeting.
