The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba greeted the 12th Congress of Vietnam Communist Party taking place in this capital, to which wished it many successes, in a message to which Prensa Latina had access today.
The letter stresses that this is a new opportunity to thank the leaders, communist militants and its generous and selfless people for its constant solidarity with the Cuban Revolution.
"Vietnam will always have an outstanding place in our bilateral ties and in feelings of friendship and love of our grateful country," the document adds.
From the Communist Party of Vietnam, which has led the Vietnamese people on the path of victory, we have admired its achievements in the military, political, economic and diplomatic sphere, as well as learned from its experiences, perseverance and courage to face challenges, the text says.
It also adds that both countries currently face the common challenges imposed by the global economic crisis, dangers and threats to peace, damages caused by weather disasters and damages to environment.
All this, in a convulsive and unequal world filled with new dangers of wars promoted by imperial interests, which generate more inequality, injustice and oppression, sources of all evils afflicting the vast majority in the world, the note adds.
Not only the Communist Party of Cuba, but also its Vietnamese peer -founded by Ho Chi Minh-, are engaged in the construction of the socialism and the development of particular economic models, to make them sustainable and prosperous, as to national experiences and attached to the Marxism-Leninism principles, and the thought of the respective historical leaders, the message says.
The 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), which will be held until February 28 at the National Conference Center, has received until yesterday the congratulatory messages by 167 parties and organizations in the world, according to information disclosed in this capital.
