Cuba’s CDR Congress Starts in Havana

devoted to analize officials’ policy, performance, and political-ideological work, among other important issues.
At the Convention Center, the over 1000 delegates and 200 guests are also debating the support works to economy, services and the food program, as well as the CDRs performance in the recovery works the country is doing after the passing of three hurricanes through the island.
This event, that will wind up tomorrow, hosted the photo exhibition “The CDR´s 48 years”, a journey through the history of the biggest grassroots organization in the Caribbean nation.
In the afternoon the delegates will gather in session when the Central Report to the Congress will be introduced, stressing on the ideological and political work of this organization based on the new –methods and work styles and the struggle against corruption, crimes, irregularities and social indiscipline.
