Delegations of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People''s Army (FARC-EP) and the government of that country continue today the negotiations in Havana with another round of talks focused on political participation.
Yesterday both parties resumed talks at the Convention Palace, venue of the negotiation table since last November, in order to begin the 16th cycle.
In statements to the press, the guerrilla woman reiterated her will to continue the talks and gain progress searching for a final agreement that will result in peace.
The guerrilla woman, Laura Villa also greeted the celebration in Bogotá of the National Summit Women and Peace which meeting, as she considered. Contribute to the building of peace in Colombia.
In this regard, Villa emphasized that violence against woman is part of the structural violence that the exploiting class usually make on the society as a whole.
She also reiterated the peace entails a fight of all for eradicating the social and political causes that generated the confrontation, such as poverty, inequality, demilitarize the society and the State, among others.
Finally, Villa urged to open gates of discussion of the agenda to the country and all over the world.
The peace process must open the doors to participation, at the utmost speed, to the society and especially to the women, expressed the guerrilla.
The delegations reached a first partial agreement by the end of May on the agrarian matter.
