Fidel Castro, the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, received Dr. Davis Kenny Anthony, Prime Minister of St. Lucia, who is attending the Second Summit of the Community of Latin America and Caribbean States (CELAC).
The fraternal meeting, held this morning, was an expression of historical relations between Cuba and Saint Lucia, characterized by the invariable spirit of cooperation and solidarity between our governments and peoples.
Other important issues on the international agenda were also discussed in the dialogue, the Granma newspaper indicated today.
Kenny Anthony expressed eternal gratitude to Cuba for its support in the training of doctors, nurses, engineers and other professionals and the contribution to the social development of the Caribbean country.
The dialogue took place in a cordial atmosphere of sincere friendship.
