Senior officials from the educational sector of Cuba and France expressed in this city the willingness to increase cooperation in this field through the exchange of experiences for the mutual benefit of the two countries, said today a press release.
During a working visit to France, Cuban deputy minister of Higher Education Oberto Santin held officials meetings with French authorities of the Minister of Education, Higher Education and Research, as well as representatives of institutions related to this field.
Santin shared experiences, strategies and the process to improve the Cuban educational system while referring to the results of exchanges carried out for years with French universities and institutions.
Santin invited French officials to the event University 2016.
Meanwhile, French representatives praised the prestige achieved by Cuban educational system and agreed that this is the best moment to increase the level of formalization of the historic relations linked by knowledge, thinking and action.
In a friendly environment, they also committed to participate and collaborate in University 2016 and increase cooperation between France and Cuba to its highest level, said the press release issued by the Cuban Embassy to France.
