Fidel Castro, Example of Dignity, Asserts Vicepresident of Venezuela

Venezuelan Vicepresident, Aristobulo Isturiz, said the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro represents an example of dignity for the peoples of Latin America who fight for their sovereignty.
 
'He was and will be a paradigm of solidarity and internationalism that all peoples of the world should follow', affirmed the official at the Cuban Embassy in Venezuela, where a book of condolences is open.
 
He considered that Fidel is the father of the Bolivarian Revolution and, thus, we have to give continuity to his legacy.
 
Her also highlighted the great efforts of the leader for the advancement of the Cuban Revolution despite the imperialist attacks of the United States during the last 50 years.
 
In that sense, he summoned Venezuelans to reflect on the present context of the South American nation and the Bolivarian Revolution in face of political and economic aggressions from the national and international rightwing sectors.
 
Among the representatives of the government who also attended Fidel Castro's funeral, are the ministers of Houjsing and Habitat, Manuel Quevedo; for Agriculture and Lands, Wilmar Castro Sotelo; and for Transport and Public Works, Ricardo Molina.
 
The book of condolences will be open until two in the afternoon (local time) after a week of heartfrelt tributes to the former Cuban president, deceased at 90 last November 25.
