Cuba and China Strengthen Ties

Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Ana Teresita Gonzalez welcomed his Chinese counterpart Wang Chao, who is in Cuba to strengthen bilateral ties, Cuban Foreign Ministry (Minrex) have announced.
 
According to the Foreign Ministry, the diplomats met on Thursday afternoon and highlighted the excellent relations between Cuba and China.
 
They also mentioned progress in the full and integral development of bilateral ties, both at the political and economic level.
 
On the Chinese side, Chinese ambassador to Cuba Zhang Tuo, and members of the delegation accompanying Wang participated in the meeting.
 
On the Cuban side, head of Asia and Oceania department at Minrex Miguel Angel Ramirez also participated in the meeting.
