More than 200 special electoral colleges will open in Cuba

Cuba plans to set up 250 special polling stations so that all citizens with legal capacity can exercise their right to vote in the national elections on Sunday, March 26, as informed by the National Electoral Council (CEN).

According to the Cuban Electoral Law, these structures are opened in places with a high concentration of people such as terminals, student residences, hospitals and tourist facilities, and ensure the right to vote for people who cannot attend the locations that corresponds to them.

Next Sunday, Cubans will elect their deputies to the National Assembly of People's Power (Parliament). Those elected will be in charge of electing the President and Vice President of the Republic and continue with the legislative development of the Constitution.
