President of Cuba condemns new Israeli crime in Gaza

Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel condemned Israel's criminal bombing of the AI Ahli hospital in Gaza that caused more than 500 deaths and hundreds of injuries.

In his X account, the president reaffirmed the island's condemnation of the crime and demanded an immediate ceasefire between the parties and an end to these violations of International Humanitarian Law.

The Cuban position was also expressed on the same social network by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez, who described the air attack against the Palestinian health institution as reprehensible.

According to press reports, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said a few hours ago that the majority of fatalities are children and women, which reveals that this is precisely the intention of the attackers: to attack schools, hospitals and kill innocent civilians.

In a recent statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Government of Cuba rejected the death of innocent people from all parties involved in the conflict, without differentiating ethnicity, nationality or religious faith.

Likewise, the ministry strongly condemned the murders of civilians, especially women, children and workers of the United Nations system; as well as the indiscriminate bombings against the population of Gaza and the destruction of homes, hospitals and civil infrastructure.
