The City Council of Láncara awards Fidel with the title of Adoptive Son of Láncara, the birth place of his father Ángel María Bautista Castro Argiz. Láncara is a municipality of the Lugo Province Calicia, from the Comarca of Sarria. He was named Adoptive Son of that place in the parish where the Puebla de San Julián council resides.
